The Jerry Garcia Family Launches Online Art Gallery

The Jerry Garcia Family has unveiled a new digital art gallery featuring the artwork of Grateful Dead guitarist Jerry Garcia. Several never-before-seen works are included in the just-launched Jerry Garcia Collection online gallery.
In addition to playing lead guitar in the Grateful Dead, Garcia was also an avid painter and created many drawings and sketches. The Jerry Garcia Collection paintings are stamped with a Jerry Garcia Family Bona Fide Article seal certifying their authenticity. Many limited edition prints are available for purchase and come with a facsimile of Jerry’s signature and separate Certificate of Authenticity.
“I think it was a way he was able to communicate with the world,” Jerry’s daughter Trixie Garcia said about her father’s art. “I always considered him multilingual, he was fluent in all these different languages, and when words kind of failed at one point, he had these other options to express himself.”
