Watch Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy Perform ‘Impossible Germany’ On An American Acoustasonic Jazzmaster Guitar

Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy is featured in the second installment of Fender’s Re-Creation video series. Tweedy performs a solo version of “Impossible Germany” using an American Acoustasonic Jazzmaster guitar.

“Impossible Germany” was originally released on Wilco’s 2007 studio album, Sky Blue Sky. Live versions showcase the handiwork of Wilco guitarist Nels Cline.

Jeff Tweedy recorded “Impossible Germany” for Re-Creation at Wilco’s famed The Loft facility in Chicago. The first Re-Creation video featured Lindsey Buckingham performing the Fleetwood Mac classic “Never Going Back Again.”
