Jeff Tweedy & Sons Cover Crosby, Stills & Nash, Guided By Voices & More

Wilco‘s Jeff Tweedy and his sons, Spencer Tweedy and Sammy Tweedy, covered Crosby, Stills & Nash, Guided By Voices and Cate LeBon on a recent episode of their daily livestreaming series The Tweedy Show. The episode from Monday, May 4 also featured the family performing Wilco and Jeff Tweedy solo songs.
Sammy played guitar near the end of the episode, singing CSN’s “Helplessly Hoping” with Spencer and Jeff singing harmony. Sammy also played guitar and sang lead on GBV’s “Smothered In Hugs” and took the lead on LeBon’s “Are You With Me Now?” as well. Monday’s livestream saw Jeff leading takes on Wilco’s “Impossible Germany,” “You Never Know” and “You Are My Face,” as well as “Warm (When the Sun Has Died)” and “Orphan” off his respective 2018 solo albums, Warm and Warmer.
