Jeff Tweedy Covers Bill Withers’ ‘Lean On Me’

Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy honored the late Bill Withers by performing a cover of “Lean On Me” via Instagram on Friday night. Friday was the same day the world found out legendary musician Bill Withers died.

Jeff Tweedy was joined on backing vocals by his sons, Spencer & Sammy Tweedy and well as his wife, Susan Tweedy on Sue’s Instagram for the performance of the Withers song. Bill Withers originally released “Lean On Me” on his sophomore studio album in 1972, Still Bill.
