Jeff Lynne’s ELO announced a new album, From Out Of Nowhere, and shared the title track. The LP arrives on November 1 via Columbia Records.
From Out Of Nowhere is the second album released under the moniker Jeff Lynne’s ELO following his 2015 release Alone In The Universe and 14th overall for ELO. According to Rolling Stone, Lynne played nearly every instrument on the record including drums, bass, piano, guitars keyboards and vibraphone.
“From Out of Nowhere – that’s exactly where it came from,” Lynne said in a statement. “That’s the first one I wrote for this album, and it’s kind of like that.” Lynne hopes that the song and album will offer up a little optimism in troubling times. “Everybody’s got to have a bit of hope,” he added.
