Jeff Chimenti Aboard For Grateful Dead ‘Shakedown Stream’ Pre-Show

Dead & Company keyboardist Jeff Chimenti will be the special guest on the pre-show for this week’s installment of the Grateful Dead‘s Shakedown Stream archival video series. Chimenti’s chat with GD archivist David Lemieux and Gary Lambert airs on Friday, July 17 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT before a broadcast of View From The Vault.

View From The Vault, the first volume of a four-part series of concert films, features the Dead’s July 8, 1990 concert at Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburgh. The Grateful Dead released View From The Vault on DVD and its companion audio on CD in 2000.
