Grateful Dead Selects 1984 Concert For ‘Dave’s Picks Volume 35’

The Grateful Dead announced the concert for Dave’s Picks Volume 35. The April 20, 1984 show from Philadelphia Civic Arena in Philadelphia got the nod.
The Philly show kicked off right with a “Feel Like A Stranger” and a first set that also contained a “My Brother Esau” and “Must Have Been The Roses.” “Scarlet Begonias” into “Fire On The Mountain” got the second set underway and followed with a segued set that included “I Need A Miracle” and “Around Around” only to close out with “Johnny B. Goode.” The band would come back out for an encore of “Keep Your Day Job.”
