Jeff Ament Announces Solo Album & Shares Single

Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament is prepping a new album under the Ament moniker. News of the forthcoming release, titled Heaven/Hell, was shared via Pearl Jam’s website along with a link to purchase the lead single on vinyl.

The single “Safe In The Car” features vocals by Angel Olsen. Jeff’s Pearl Jam band mates Mike McCready and Matt Cameron contributed guitar and drums respectively. More information on the follow-up to 2012’s While My Heart Beats is expected soon. Pearl Jam also has a new album on the way and shared the single “Can’t Deny Me.”

Pearl Jam returns to the road on June 12 in Amsterdam.
