Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit held a concert at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York on Saturday night. The singer-songwriter and guitarist would cover Jimi Hendrix to close out his set.
Isbell and company opened up the set with “Anxiety” followed by “Hope The High Road,” “24 Frames,” “Overseas” and “Last Of My Kind.” Isbell would get into some material he wrote with Drive-By Truckers in “Outfit” and “Decoration Day.” Other songs that helped make up last night’s set included “Tupelo,” “If We Were Vampires,” “Tour of Duty,” “Live Oak” and “Cover Me Up.” Isbell brought the set to a close with Hendrix’s “Little Wing,” which he covered last October at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.”
Jason Isbell And The 400 Unit would retake the stage for an encore of “Maybe It’s Time” which Isbell wrote for the film A Star Is Born and a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Oh Well.” Check out video of the Hendrix cover along with the first 10 songs of the set below:
