Last night’s main set featured 17 songs in total. The band looked to 2017’s The Nashville Sound for “Hope The High Road,” “If We Were Vampires” and “Last Of My Kind.” Additionally, Isbell led the ensemble through a number of tunes from his solo efforts, including “Something More Than Free,” “24 Frames,” “Flying Over Water” and “Cover Me Up.” Guitarist Sadler Vaden had a turn in the spotlight for the Drivin’ n’ Cryin’ classic “Honeysuckle Blue,” while Jason fronted a cover of R.E.M.’s “Driver 8” towards the end of the frame.

Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit kicked off the evening’s encore with “Super 8.” McCready then emerged for a fierce take on Jimi Hendrix’s “Little Wing” featuring solos from Vaden and the Pearl Jam guitarist. Last night’s “Little Wing” marked the group’s first version of a song initially released by the Jimi Hendrix Experience on their Axis: Bold As Love album since September 19, 2019 as per Setlist.FM.
