Last night Gov’t Mule held a concert at The Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami Beach, Florida. On the 36th anniversary of his legendary father John Bonahm’s untimely death, his son Jason Bonham sat-in on drums on a pair of Led Zeppelin classics during Sunday’s show.

The first set opened with “World Boss” > “Mother Earth” and closed with “I’m A Ram” with such selections such as “Larger Than Life” > “Monday Mourning Meltdown,” “Banks Of The Deep End” and “Life Before Insanity” played in between. Bonham emerged to start the second set, replacing Matt Abts on drums for a opening take on “Since I’ve Been Loving You.” Guitarist Warren Haynes, keyboardist Danny Louis, bassist Jorgen Carlsson and their guest sitting behind the kit then offered a rendition of Zeppelin’s “No Quarter.”

The regular Mule lineup then got back at it with “Fool’s Moon.” The second set came to an end with “Thorazine Shuffle” and “Child Of The Earth” held the encore role Sunday evening. Video of Bonham’s guest spot was captured by CHeeSeHeaDPRoDuCTioNS, watch the footage below:
