Jackie Greene To Headline Blue Bear School Of Music Benefit

Our longtime friends at the Blue Bear School Of Music have announced details of this year’s benefit concert, which takes place at The Chapel in San Francisco on May 14. Jackie Greene and his band are set to headline the fundraiser.

San Francisco’s Blue Bear School Of Music was established in 1971 to provide an environment where learning and playing music is affordable and fun. The school’s annual benefits provide crucial funding for the school’s nonprofit mission and music education programs that enrich the lives of more than 800 Bay Area youth, including hundreds of kids from low-income families and at-risk communities in the Tenderloin and Bayview Hunters Point.
Besides Jackie, the show will also feature performances from Blue Bear Youth Bands. VIP and GA tickets go on sale today at 12 p.m. PT via the venue’s website.
