Jack White posted a new video with the title “Servings and Portions from my Boarding House Reach.” Accompanying the montage is an audio collage of what appears to be new music from the guitarist’s anticipated album.
White told Billboard in November that a new solo album was “practically done.” The album would be his first solo full length since 2014’s Lazaretto. Earlier this year White shared a new song entitled “Battle Cry,” which appeared in a video advertisement for White’s partly-owned baseball bat manufacturer Warstic. Last month White issued his first children’s book, We’re Going To Be Friends.
The new video mixes a wide range of sounds into a four-minute soundscape, perhaps revealing the upcoming LP’s title (Boarding House Reach). Images from the studio (including Soulive’s Neal Evans) are featured in the montage alongside an eclectic presentation of visuals.
