Jack White Shares New Single For Baseball Bat Ad

Guitarist and noted Detroit Tigers fan Jack White has shared a new song entitled “Battle Cry.” The track appears in an new video advertisement for baseball bat manufacturer Warstic which White partly owns.
The promotional video entitled War Cry: The Battle Of The Hawk And The Raven co-stars Detroit Tigers second baseman and Warstic co-owner Ian Kinsler (as the Hitter), White (as the Raven) and Anthony “Thosh” Collins of The Native Wellness Institute (as the Hawk). The video narrated by Ian Kinsler’s father, Howard Kinsler, features the mostly instrumental “Battle Cry,” which was written, produced and performed by White and has been declared the “Official Warstic anthem.”
On Record Store Day (Saturday, April 22), Third Man Records will release a limited edition, one-sided, gold colored vinyl 7-inch. A portion of sales from “Battle Cry” will go to The Well for Culture Program within The Native Wellness Institute Native American charity.
