This Friday, Jack White will release a career-spanning compilation entitled Jack White Acoustic Recordings 1998 – 2016 via his Third Man Records label and Columbia/XL Recordings. Today the guitarist launched an interactive online timeline that coincides with the new retrospective release.
Featuring behind-the-scenes photos, artwork, handwritten lyrics and other collectibles, commentary and rare live performances, the interactive timeline offers insights into each of the 26 tracks that make up the collection. The timeline begins on October 23, 1998 with the release of The White Stripes song “Sugar Never Tasted So Good” and continues through the August 11, 2016 issuing of the previously unreleased White Stripes song “City Lights.”
