The Infamous StringdustersAndy Hall continues to roll out video of choice dobro covers. The latest features Hall performing Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb.”

“Comfortably Numb” appears on Pink Floyd’s landmark 1979 album The Wall. Last week Hall shared another beloved classic rock tune, Led Zeppelin’s “Going To California.” While the Zep cover saw Andy laying down a couple dobro parts, the more involved “Comfortably Numb” features Hall experimenting with additional layers.

Andy detailed the process in his Instagram post along with the video. Read his words below:

Fun/odd little project. Did this all with layered slide guitars. I like trying to use the dobro to represent various sounds. Whether it be melody, drums, guitar parts or keys, it’s fun to try and get close to those sounds with a slide.
