Indigo Girls released a new single, “When We Were Writers.” The song will appear on the famed singer-songwriter duo’s upcoming album, Look Long.

Indigo Girls’ Emily Saliers wrote “When We Were Writers” about her time at Tulane University when she and Amy Ray were just getting Indigo Girls started. “We are still a bar band at heart,” Saliers remembered. “Today, we joke about being old, but what is old when it comes to music? Our passion for music feels the same as it did when we were 25-years-old.”
