Inaugural The Great Lawn Festival Announces Cancellation

The inaugural The Great Lawn two-day concert event was set to make its debut this weekend at UIC’s Harrison Field at Harrison and Halsted in Chicago. Organizers have announced all performances slated to take place July 22 and 23 have been canceled.
A message posted on The Great Lawn website and social media accounts confirmed the event will not take place as planned. The note reads:
The Great Lawn Festival scheduled to play at Harrison Field at UIC this Saturday and Sunday has been canceled. Refunds will automatically be issued to your credit card by TicketFly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Canceled performances include Houndmouth, Shovels & Rope, Hard Working Americans and The Lil Smokies on Saturday, July 22 as well as Greensky Bluegrass, Dr. Dog, Joshua Davis Trio and Horseshoes & Hand Grenades on Sunday, July 23.
