Huichica East Festival Announces 2017 Lineup

The 2017 Huichica East Festival will be held at Chaseholm Farms in Pine Plains, New York on August 25 – 26. Organizers Jeff Bundschu and (((folkYEAH!))) Presents founder Britt Govea have revealed the lineup of acts performing at the second installment of Hudson Valley-based event.

Among those on the bill for the Huichica East 2017 includes Real Estate, Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires, Cass McCombs and Marissa Nadler. The two-day event will also present sets by Doug Tuttle, The Mattson 2, Meg Baird performing with Charlie Saufley of Heron Oblivion, Mail The Horse and more. Along with music, the “farm to table festival” will also offer locally sourced food from Chaseholm Farms, craft beer and wine from Sonoma’s Gundlach Bundschu winery.

“Huichica East is a true farm to table ‘microdose’ Camping Festival experience,” Govea said. “700 music lovers in Hudson Valley gathering on a family-owned, organic dairy farm in upstate New York with world class music from Charles Bradley, Real Estate, Cass McCombs and many others, top-shelf Sonoma wine and hand-raised, farm-sourced food. Especially in these troubled political times, it’s important for the people to gather in rural spots and celebrate a few of the key ingredients of the fabled American Pie.
