Dave Matthews, Grace Potter & More Aboard For ‘Hug Your Farmer’ Livestream Benefit

Dave Matthews, Grace Potter and Martin Sexton are among the artists taking part in Hug Your Farmer, a music benefit livestream that starts on Thursday, June 25 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT via HugYourFarmer.com. All donations received from the livestream will benefit ShiftMeals, an organization that connects “local farmers to restaurants that are providing community support to people who need food in a dignified and nourishing way.”

Kelli O’Hara, Dispatch’s Chadwick Stokes, Kat Wright, Josh Panda, Bob Wagner, The Sweet Remains and the Hug Your Farmer All-Star Band round out the lineup for the benefit. While ShiftMeals’ efforts focus on Vermont, the aim is to use the program as a template that can be used nationwide.
