Holly Bowling Announces Midwest Summer 2024 Concerts
“I’m squeezing in a pair of solo shows in August because I’m just really excited to play.”

Pianist Holly Bowling confirmed details of her only non-festival solo shows of the summer. The concerts will take place in the Midwest this August leading up to her appearance at the Hoxeyville Music Festival in Michigan.
“I’ve been super happy creatively speaking lately, doing stuff with Greensky Bluegrass (Iceland Sessions EP) and Phil Lesh & Friends (Terrapin Clubhouse Sessions, Sunshine Daydream Vol. 4) as well as some solo festival plays,” Holly Bowling told JamBase. “But I also really love getting to do full two-set shows on a real piano where I’m free to manipulate the instrument and dive deep into all the possible choices at hand. And I was missing that. So I’m squeezing in a pair of solo shows in August because I’m just really excited to play.”

Holly Bowling begins her Midwest Summer 2024 swing with a solo piano concert at Cleveland’s Bop Stop on August 7. Bowling then performs at Evanston SPACE in Evanston, Illinois on August 8 before heading to Wellston, Michigan for Hoxeyville.
