HeadCount To Distribute Go Vote Postcards At Phish Shows

Our friends at HeadCount have a special treat in store for those who visit the non-profit organization’s tables at Phish shows this summer. Rock poster artist Jim Pollock has designed a limited-edition “Go Vote” postcard that HeadCount will distribute for free.

In order to receive your free, limited-edition postcard, stop by the HeadCount table at a Phish show and sign a “Pledge To Vote” on the back of the card. Then, come November, HeadCount will send the card back to you as a reminder of the fun of Phish tour and your commitment to vote. Artwork for the postcard can be viewed above. “I kind of wanted to do the positives so they’re riding bikes; they’re not riding cars. But it’s still a race. It’s the red against the blue jerseys. I’m pretty up front about my political beliefs, but I like to see a good race. I’d like to see both parties thrive and to have more parity,” Pollock explained to HeadCount executive director Andy Bernstein in a new interview.

Pollock’s postcards will initially only be available at Phish shows, though if extras remain after tour they will shared at other festivals and concerts. David Welker, AJ Masthay, TRIPP, Gwen AP, Jamie Hunstsman and tattoo artist Luke Wessman also created “Go Vote” postcards for distribution by HeadCount. There will only be one print run of each postcard and those who sign the pledge will be automatically entered into a drawing for a free trip on Jam Cruise or one of Cloud 9 Adventures’ other destination concerts.
