By Scott Bernstein Sep 11, 2019 • 9:14 am PDT

Seattle’s own The Head and the Heart stopped by the studios of their hometown public radio station KEXP in May for an in-studio performance. Jonathan Russell, Charity Rose Thielen and Matt Gervais played three songs from their recently released album, Living Mirage as well as one from 2016’s Signs Of Light.
The trio opened with Living Mirage single “Missed Connection” and album track “See You Through My Eyes.” Host Kevin Cole then talked with The Head & The Heart members about the process of recording the LP, the sounds they explored on Living Mirage and the sonic changes between albums. Russell, Thielen and Gervais went on to perform “Library Magic” from Signs Of Light and then ended their set with Living Mirage’s “People Need A Melody.”
