The Head & The Heart Cover Crosby Stills Nash & Young’s ‘Our House’

Americana act The Head and the Heart shared a beautiful cover of the Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young classic “Our House.” The new rendition, out today on digital services, comes in honor of the recently released 50th anniversary edition of CSNY's Déjà Vu album.

“Our House” was originally written by Graham Nash for inclusion on Déjà Vu which CSNY released in 1970. The 50th anniversary edition brings together a newly remastered version of the LP with dozens of rare and unreleased demos, outtakes and alternate takes. “Our House” is represented in the extras by Nash’s demo, a performance from Graham and Joni Mitchell and an early version of the song.

“When we first started as a band, we shared a two bedroom apartment where ‘Our House’ was played so much it became like a mantra of unity and connection to each other, as we discovered what we wanted to do within our music,” The Head & The Heart explained in a statement. “To say it’s an honor to now be asked to cover that very same song is an understatement. Happy 50th anniversary you legends! Déjà Vu Forever!”
