Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Finalizes 2016 Lineup

The 2016 installment of the annual Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival will return to Golden Gate Park in San Francisco on September 30 – October 2. Organizers of the free event have confirmed the over 100 acts slated to play HSB this year.

The bill includes The Infamous Stringdusters, The California Honeydrops, Mavis Staples, The Mother Hips, Jim James, Nahko & Medicine For The People, Doobie Decibel System and Tim Flannery & Lunatic Fringe. A number of special performances are planned such as Buddy Miller’s Cavalcade of Stars featuring Jack Ingram, Bobby Bare, Earle Griffin Harris Miller, Buddy Miller & Marc Ribot and The SteelDrivers and Conor Brings Friends For Friday featuring Twin Limb, MiWi La Lupa, Anna McClellan, Hop Along, Jim James and Conor Oberst. A silent disco will also be held for EDM enthusiasts will sets by Motion Potion, DJ Centipede of Mophono, Davey D, Deejay Theory, King Most, Matt Haze and others.
