Hard Working Americans To Open For ARU In Richmond

This summer Col. Bruce Hampton & Aquarium Rescue Unit will reunite for a summer tour that includes a stop at The National in Richmond on August 13. Today, it’s been revealed Hard Working Americans will open for the newly reunited ARU in Richmond.

The Richmond show will be a family affair as ARU (and Panic) guitarist Jimmy Herring’s son-in-law and current Widespread Panic drummer Duane Trucks is behind the kit for Hard Working Americans. Hard Working Americans also features Widespread Panic bassist Dave Schools. We’re hoping collaborations are in store for the Richmond show.

Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster. Before the tour, Col. Bruce Hampton and Aquarium Rescue Unit will team with special guest John McLaughlin in Baltimore on June 5.
