Happy Birthday Steve Winwood | Lugano Jazz 2013

Today marks Steve Winwood’s 66th birthday and we’re glad the legendary multi-instrumentalist is still going strong. Steve will soon embark on a June tour and will be Widespread Panic’s guest at this September’s Lockn’ Festival. Winwood was a member of iconic groups Traffic and Blind Faith as well as of the Spencer Davis Group. More recently Winwood has focused on his solo career with the exception of a few tours with Eric Clapton.

To celebrate Steve’s birthday we want to share phenomenal pro-shot video of Winwood’s set at last year’s Estival Lugano Jazz festival in Switzerland. Winwood and his talented ensemble work through material from nearly every phase of his incredible career.
