Happy Birthday Eddie Vedder: ‘Forever Young’

We’d like to wish a very happy birthday to Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder. Vedder was born in Evanston, Illinois on this date in 1964. Eddie was brought on board to lead Pearl Jam by Jeff Ament, Stone Gossard and Mike McCready in 1990. The next year Pearl Jam released their debut album, Ten, and the Seattle rockers have since become one of the biggest acts in the rock world.
In 2008 Vedder embarked on a solo tour that was documented in the 2011 concert film Water On The Road. Eddie mixed Pearl Jam songs, solo material and covers at each show on the tour. Among the covers was Vedder’s tender rendition of “Forever Young” by Bob Dylan. Watch “Forever Young” off Water On The Road:
