This Is Happening: LCD Soundsystem To Play Two Lollapalooza After Shows

The recently reunited LCD Soundsystem has been mixing small club shows with huge festival appearances since April and will continue that trend later this month. James Murphy and Co. have announced a pair of Lollapalooza after shows surrounding their appearance at the Chicago festival.

LCD Soundsystem will play the 1,100-capacity Metro on July 29 and 30. Tickets go on sale online only at 11 a.m. CT, aka very soon. Head to eTix for your shot at tickets. The band closes out Lollapalooza ’16 on Sunday, July 31. Each Metro show features “paperless tickets” in an effort to beat scalpers.
