Hangtown Music Festival Announces Additional Acts & Late Night Shows

The sixth annual Hangtown Music Festival (formerly known as Hangtown Halloween Ball), will be held October 20 – 23 at El Dorado County Fairgrounds in Placerville, California. Hosts Railroad Earth have revealed an additional batch of performances and a slate of late night shows for this year’s event.

Additionally confirmed performers include The Brothers Comatose, Achilles Wheel, The Kitchen Dwellers, Ideateam and Swamp Zen. They join a lineup featuring three nights of Railroad Earth, as well as Medeski, Martin & Wood, The Infamous Stringdusters, Steve Kimock & Friends The Wood Brothers, Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers, Boombox, Twiddle, TAUK, Dead Winter Carpenters, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe (presenting a tribute to Prince including a full performance of Dirty Mind featuring Fishbone’s Angelo Moore), Incidental Animals and many others.

Late night shows being staged at Hangtown will be Boombox and Steve Kimock & Friends on Friday, October 21, The Infamous Stringdusters and Horseshoes & Hand Grenades on Saturday, October 22 and Incidental Animals and Twiddle on Sunday, October 23.
