Halsey Brings Out Kesha & The Veronicas At Brisbane ‘Badlands’ Show

Last night, Halsey's celebratory Back To Badlands Tour rolled into Brisbane, Australia for a concert at Riverstage. Kesha and The Veronicas helped take the show to the next level with separate surprise guest appearances late in the evening.

Following the first 24 songs of the concert, Halsey jokingly implored the crowd to “please stand for the national anthem” before The Veronicas emerged. The Brisbane-based pop duo came out to a massive roar from the audience. Halsey and The Veronicas teamed up to perform the latter’s 2007 hit “Untouched” as the penultimate song of the main set.

Another memorable surprise followed during the encore. After kicking off the show-closing four-song sequence with “Graveyard,” Kesha took the stage with Halsey. The pair joined forces on one of Kesha’s biggest hits, “Your Love Is My Drug,” which, like “Untouched,” was a Halsey debut. Kesha returns to Riverstage tonight for the next stop on her Tits Out Tour.

Halsey capped the show with performances of “Bad At Love” and “Is There Somewhere.” The Back To Badlands Tour commemorates the tenth anniversary of Halsey’s breakthrough Badlands album. The Australian leg of the excursion ends with back-to-back shows at West Melbourne’s Festival Hall on Thursday, February 19 and Friday, February 20.
