Guster was joined by The Wood Brothers and David Wax Museum for a Neil Young cover on Tuesday in Dayton, Ohio. The collaborative “Harvest Moon” took place at the end of Guster’s set at Rose Music Center at The Heights.
Tuesday’s concert came as part of a short run of Guster and The Wood Brothers performances that ends tonight in Cincinnati. David Wax Museum has opened most dates including the show in Dayton.

Neil Young originally released “Harvest Moon” as the title track for his 1992 studio album. Guster followed a career-spanning set in Dayton by bringing out all three members of The Wood Brothers on “Harvest Moon,” a song neither group had played live previously.
Guster’s Ryan Miller sang the first few verses as the musicians went acoustic and gathered around a single microphone. Then, Oliver Wood took over lead vocal duties. David Wax Museum’s David Wax and Suz Slezak emerged from the side of the stage towards the end of “Harvest Moon” to add harmony vocals.
