GrooveSafe started as a movement in the live music community to bring awareness to unwanted touching and sexual violence at concerts. The organization became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2019, as it grew the effort to create more support and resources for our community. While many fans have shared their experiences with GrooveSafe, there is more to learn.

GrooveSafe is looking for live music-goers to anonyshare what they know, what they’ve seen or been through, and how it has impacted their experience at shows by completing the brief Fan Experience Survey.

Take The GrooveSafe Fan Experience Survey

The survey was designed in partnership with researchers at Sacred Heart University. The results will allow GrooveSafe to understand the current prevalence of nonconsensual touching, harassment, and sexual misconduct. The findings will be used as a baseline for GrooveSafe to learn what outreach, education, and partnerships may be most helpful. GrooveSafe’s goal is to improve overall safety and respect for everyone, and the survey will help determine whether or not progress is being made over time.

Your perspective matters and can help influence the positive change that GrooveSafe will continue to make for the live music experience. Help GrooveSafe help one another by clicking the link and taking this confidential five-minute survey on your experience as a concert fan.
