On August 6, 2009 Grizzly Bear performed for southern California independent radio station KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic program. KCRW uploaded video of the quartet’s session to YouTube as part of the station’s Throwback Sessions series.

Grizzly Bear’s visit to KCRW’s studios came a few months after the release of their third full-length studio album, Veckatimest. The band consisting of Edward Droste, Daniel Rossen, Chris Taylor and Christopher Bear performed five songs from the LP.

The Brooklyn-based four-piece kicked off the set by pairing “Ready, Able” and “Cheerleader.” Grizzly Bear then performed “Two Weeks,” which was followed by “Foreground.” For the finale, Grizzly Bear went with “Southern Point,” the song that starts Veckatimest.
