Watch Greta Van Fleet Perform ‘The Indigo Streak’ Live From Nashville’s Famed RCA Studio A

Rockers Greta Van Fleet recently assembled at the historic RCA Studio A in Nashville to perform five songs featured on their Grammy-nominated 2023 album, Starcatcher. Videos from the session will be rolled out on a weekly basis starting with today’s release of “The Indigo Streak.”

RCA Studio A is familiar territory for Greta Van Fleet as the facility is where the band recorded Starcatcher with producer Dave Cobb. The follow-up to 2022’s The Battle At The Garden’s Gate has been nominated for Best Rock Album at the 66th annual Grammys. Greta Van Fleet previously took home the Best Rock Album award at the 2019 Grammys.

“Starcatcher is a dangerous and delightful expedition into a both violent and gentle dreamlike landscape. A purgatory of duality where brutality and beauty clash like a thunderstorm of stillness,” frontman Josh Kiszka said of the band’s third album. “Neither fact nor fiction inhabit the far reaches of this surrealist world. A storybook for the fighters and lovers alike Starcatcher captures a certain wonder on the fringe of mayhem.”

In addition to reimagining “The Indigo Streak,” Greta Van Fleet also laid down new versions of “Meeting The Master,” “The Falling Sky,” “Sacred The Thread” and “Farewell For Now” at RCA Studio A. See the band run through “The Indigo Streak” in the Steven Lester-directed video below:

Greta Van Fleet embarks on a spring tour of the U.S. starting on April 27 at Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis. The trek continues through May 21. All dates are laid out below.
