Gregg Allman Band Among FloydFest 16 Additions

Though July’s FloydFest will be the 15th annual event, organizers will honor leap year by calling the 2016 installment FloydFest 16. FloydFest officials have followed the announcement of an impressive initial lineup and 18 more acts by revealing another batch of artists set to play the festival July 27 – 31.

The Gregg Allman Band featuring The Allman Brothers Band co-founder Gregg Allman will make their FloydFest debut in July. Bloodkin, The Steepwater Band and Dead 27s have also been added to the lineup for the festival as have FloydFest On-The-Rise competition winners Look Homeward and runners run The Midatlantic.

The acts announced today join a wide-ranging group of FloydFest ’16 performers that includes Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers, Leftover Salmon, Nahko And Medicine For The People, Shakey Graves, Railroad Earth, The Wood Brothers and Elephant Revival, among many others.
