Rayland Baxter Joins Greensky Bluegrass At Red Rocks
By Nate Todd Sep 15, 2019 • 11:50 am PDT

Greensky Bluegrass welcomed singer-songwriter and opening act Rayland Baxter during the second of three concerts at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Saturday night. Greensky would also debut Robin Davis’ “Prom Night.”
Greensky got things going with “Old Barns” followed by “Murder of Crows” and “Leap Year.” The band would then welcome Baxter for a rendition of his song “Yellow Eyes.” The debut of Davis’ “Prom Night” would follow ahead of “Against The Days,” and “Take Cover.” “Windshield” would segue into the set closer, U2’s “Where the Streets Have No Name.”
Greensky kicked off the second set with “Demons” followed by “All Four,” “Nine Days” and “Kerosene.” “Miss September” began a continuous block that included “Room Without a Roof,” and a back and forth segue between “Tarpology” and “One Slip.” The band would close out the second set with “Past My Prime.”
Greensky retook the stage for an encore of “Gumboots.” Check out the “Yellow Eyes” via Kyle Isaac and pro-shot footage of the first and second set openers via nugs.tv below:
