Green River Festival Announces 30th Anniversary Lineup

The annual Green River Festival will take place at Greenfield Community College in Greenfield, Massachusetts on July 8 – 10. Organizers have revealed the lineup for the 30th anniversary of the multi-day event.

The Wheels Of Soul Tour featuring Tedeschi Trucks Band, Los Lobos and North Mississippi Allstars will be making a stop at Green River, as will Dawes, Shakey Graves and Peter Wolf & The Midnight Travelers. The bill also includes NRBQ, Charles Neville, Shovels & Rope, The Felice Brothers, Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds, Amy Helm & The Handsome Strangers, The Soul Rebels and others. Additional acts are expected to added to the lineup.

For the first time organizers are offering camping at nearby Franklin County Fairgrounds featuring special “breakfast session” concerts at the fairgrounds. There will also be a handmade craft fair and family-oriented activities, and four hot air balloon launches including a balloon glow planned for Saturday night.
