Grateful Shred & Circles Around The Sun Outline Joint 2024 Spring Tour Dates

Grateful Shred and Circles Around The Sun will team up for what’s billed as “the first and last time” this spring. The “Shred The Sun Tour 2024” spans two weeks and features stops in 11 different cities.

The two acts share members keyboardist Adam MacDougall, bassist Dan Horne and guitarist John Lee Shannon. Look for each band to perform over the course of all 13 “continuous, distinctive and spectacular show(s).”

Presented by GSI in association with Anthems of the Sun and PHILM, the excursion begins in Texas with shows in Austin on May 10 and Dallas on May 11. CATS and Grateful Shred go on to hit Birmingham, Alabama on May 14 before a trip to Florida for concerts in St. Petersburg on May 16 and Jacksonville on May 17.

The “Shred The Sun Tour 2024” continues in Atlanta on May 18. From there, the two Grateful Dead-adjacent ensembles bring the trek to Charlotte on May 19, Huntsville (Alabama) on May 21, Knoxville (Tennessee) on May 22 and Asheville (North Carolina) on May 23. Grateful Shred and Cats Around The Sun end the jaunt with a three-night stand at the Charleston Pour House in Charleston, South Carolina May 24 – 26.
