The Grateful Dead unveiled pro-shot video of “Terrapin Station” from Anaheim Stadium in Anaheim, California on July 26, 1987 as the latest installment of the band’s All The Years Live video series. The concert was the last of the “Dylan & The Dead” tour with Bob Dylan in which the Dead backed Dylan for a set and then played two of their own.
“From the final night of the Dylan & the Dead Tour, this wonderful ‘Terrapin Station’ shows that after a long tour that started at Alpine exactly a month earlier, the Dead could always rise to the occasion of a stadium filled with hungry Dead Heads, this one in Orange County,” wrote GD archivist David Lemieux. “Spending a day with Disney, Dylan and the Dead sounds pretty darn great.” Video of both Grateful Dead sets was released as part of View From The Vault, Volume 4 in 2003.
