Watch 5 Grateful Dead References On ‘The Simpsons’ You Might Have Missed

The Grateful Dead shared a video clip featuring GD references on The Simpsons. Fans of both beloved institutions can watch five times the Dead came to Springfield.
While some of the references are from classic episodes — like Homer inadvertently spiking juice with peyote and Ned Flanders hallucinating iconic Grateful Dead imagery — others are more obscure. These include a “Treehouse Of Horror I” easter egg, a logo on a big rig and more. Check out the clip below:
Speaking of Grateful Dead references, the band is the subject of this year’s JamBase March Madness Covers Tournament. Although Round 1 is over, you can still get in on the action for the Elite 8.
