By Scott Bernstein Jul 9, 2020 7:17 am PDT

The Grateful Dead now have an official podcast, The Good Ol’ Grateful Deadcast. Hosted by Rich Mahan and Jesse Jarnow, the podcast was launched today on the 25th anniversary of the band's final show.

A new episode will be shared each Thursday. The first eight installments come in celebration of the 50th anniversary of and explore the making of the Grateful Dead’s Workingman’s Dead studio album. Co-producer Bob Matthews, GD archivist David Lemieux, singer-songwriter Jim Lauderdale and famed Deadhead/Basketball Hall Of Famer Bill Walton are among the guests on the documentary-style first episode of The Good Ol’ Grateful Dead, which focuses on “Uncle John’s Band.”
