The final three Fare Thee Well: Celebrating 50 Years Of Grateful Dead concerts will be broadcast live from Chicago’s Soldier Field on July 3 -5 at theaters nationwide according to a report from Billboard. Fare Thee Well brings together Grateful Dead members Phil Lesh, Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann and Bob Weir along with Trey Anastasio, Bruce Hornsby and Jeff Chimenti. Tickets for the performances sold out quickly after they went on sale leading to the addition of two shows in Santa Clara, California one weekend earlier.

Fare Thee Well organizers have teamed with Fathom Events to bring the Chicago concerts to theaters nationwide. Tickets for the broadcasts, which begin at 8 p.m. EDT/7 p.m. CDT/6 p.m. MDT/5 p.m. PDT each night and are expected to run five hours, go on sale May 4. May 4 is also the day Fathom will present this year’s Grateful Dead Meet Up At The Movies at theaters nationwide.

The July 5 Fare Thee Well show has been billed as the final time the Dead’s “core four” will perform together. There’s no word yet about whether the shows will also be webcast.
