Bon Iver, Vampire Weekend, Lizzo & More Earn 2020 Grammy Nominations

Bon Iver, Vampire Weekend, Lizzo and several others earned 2020 Grammy Awards nominations. The 62nd annual Grammy Awards will take place at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles on January 26.
Bon Iver’s i,i is up for Album Of The Year, Best Alternative Music Album and Best Recording Package, while the album’s “Hey Ma” earned a Record Of The Year nomination. Vampire Weekend’s Father Of The Bride and Lizzo’s Cuz I Love You were also among the Album Of The Year nominees. Vampire Weekend’s “Harmony Hall” is up for Best Rock Song and Father Of The Bride is also up for Best Alternative Music Album.
Lizzo’s “Truth Hurts” was nominated for Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year and Best Pop Solo Performance, alongside nominations for Best R&B Performance (“Exactly How I Feel), Best Traditional R&B Performance (“Jerome”) and Best Urban Contemporary Album (Cuz I Love You). Lizzo was also among the Best New Artist nominees alongside Maggie Rogers, Tank And The Bangas, Black Pumas, Yola, Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X and Rosalía.

Additional notable nominees include Tool, Thom Yorke, Brittany Howard, Gary Clark Jr., Anderson .Paak, I’m With Her, Calexico And Iron & Wine — who each earned multiple nods — along with Lettuce, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Tyler Childers, Willie Nelson, Tanya Tucker, Elvis Costello & The Imposters, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Chick Corea, Maren Morris, Southern Avenue, Andrew Bird, Steel Pulse and Dan Auerbach, among others.
