Gov’t Mule Taps Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Nikki Lane & More As Summer Tour 2019 Openers

Gov’t Mule will be joined by Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Nikki Lane, The Record Company and Joanne Shaw Taylor for select dates of their upcoming summer tour. The quartet’s “Summer Of ’19” tour spans June 21 – July 20.

Lane opens for Gov’t Mule in Cincinnati on June 21. Then, after going it alone in Grand Rapids on June 22, the band will team up with KDTU on Karl Denson’s off days from Rolling Stones tour in Indianapolis on June 23, Louisville on June 24 and Boston on June 27. Next, Lane supports Mule in Asbury Park on June 28 and the four-piece goes without openers in Butler (Ohio) on June 29 and Asheville on July 3.

The tour continues with The Record Company aboard as openers in Charlotte on July 5, Greensboro on July 6, Manteo (North Carolina) on July 7, Charlottesville on July 10 and Baltimore on July 11. A visit to Jay, Vermont on July 12 is followed by Gov’t Mule opening for Lynyrd Skynyrd in Canandaigua, New York on July 13. Next, the quartet performs sans opener in Toledo on July 16 before Taylor kicks off the night in Kansas City on July 18. Finally, Mule supports Skynyrd for two dates in Minnesota: Welch on July 19 and Walker on July 20.
