Gov’t Mule postponed their upcoming spring tour after frontman Warren Haynes fractured his scapula. The band is working on rescheduling the run, which was originally slated for April 6 – 30.
“While on vacation in Costa Rica with my family this past weekend, I slipped on a wet surface and landed very hard on my shoulder,” Warren wrote in an announcement on the band’s social feeds. “Upon arriving back to the States and seeing a specialist, it’s been confirmed that I fractured my scapula.”
“I don’t think anyone was more excited to get back out on the road than I was,” added Haynes. Warren went on to note his doctor’s expect him to make a full recovery in time for Gov’t Mule’s summer tour, which begins in June.
