Gov’t Mule Shares Hint About This Year’s Mule-O-Ween Show

On October 29 Gov’t Mule will play The Palace Theatre in Albany, New York. While the band doesn’t have a show scheduled for Halloween night, the performance in Albany will act as the quartet’s traditional “Mule-O-Ween” gig. Today, Gov’t Mule shared the following image as a hint to what this year’s theme will be:

As Live For Live Music points out, “The graphic includes a traffic light in a raised colored cube, and the cube itself is reminiscent of Traffic’s famed Low Spark Of High Heeled Boys album cover. The traffic light itself features images in each of the lights – the red features the logo for the band Traffic, the yellow is a pumpkin representing Halloween, and the green is an artwork associated with Gov’t Mule.”

Gov’t Mule has performed such Traffic classics as “Low Spark,” “Feelin’ Alright,” “Empty Pages” and “Dear Mr. Fantasy” in the past, so a Traffic theme would certainly be right in Warren Haynes & Co.’s wheelhouse.
