Gov’t Mule Performs ‘Stone Cold Rage’ On ‘Conan’

Tonight, Gov’t Mule returns to the road with a performance in Salt Lake City. Ahead of the start of tour, Warren Haynes & Co. appeared on Wednesday’s installment of the TBS talk show Conan.

Guitarist Warren Haynes, keyboardist Danny Louis, bassist Jorgen Carlsson and drummer Matt Abts played “Stone Cold Rage” off Revolution Come…Revolution Go for the national television audience. Mule’s visit came nearly four years to the day after their last appearance on the show.

Gov’t Mule has made a handful of appearances on Conan O’Brien-hosted programs over the years including a performance of “Funny Little Tragedy” on September 11, 2013. Jimmy Vivino, the leader of O’Brien’s house band, is a regular guest of the quartet during their New Year’s runs.
