Gov’t Mule Honors The Beatles In Montgomery
By Scott Bernstein Feb 10, 2014 • 8:00 am PST

Following a pair of sets that were heavy on originals, Warren Haynes and Co. paid tribute to the 50th Anniversary of The Beatles first appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show by treating fans to an encore filled with four songs by the Fab Four. Mule’s encore in Alabama included takes on “Helter Skelter,” “Yer Blues,” “I’m So Tired” and “The End.” Gov’t Mule had previously performed all four Beatles covers they played last night.
