Goose stopped by Old Forester’s Paristown Hall in Louisville, Kentucky on Friday. The band delivered a pair of tour debuts, original “Factory Fiction” as well as the Grateful Dead covered traditional “Peggy-O.”

Goose kicked off the show with substantial versions of “Jive II” and “Indian River,” the latter hitting 18 minutes. Relatively new tune “Welcome To The Delta,” which the band debuted at The Caverns in May 2021, followed. “Dr. Darkness” then headed into another winter tour unveiled number, “Pancakes” which hit the 19 minute mark ahead of an even bigger version of the funky favorite “Hot Tea” at over 20 minutes to close the first frame.

Goose kept up the new material to start the second set with “Atlas Dogs,” which the band debuted in Los Angeles on their winter tour and followed with a well-jammed “Western Sun.” “Creatures” then headed into “Flodown” from the band’s 2021 album Shenanigans Nite Club. Next, the quintet then performed “Peggy-O” for the first time this year, last time played on July 7, 2021. The live number, “Factory Fiction,” saw action for the first time since November 22, 2021 to close out the second set and stretched to 18 minutes. Goose offered “Jive Lee” and finished up “Flodown” to bring the evening to a close.
